Better quality control would be nice
I have bought a lot of Paracord, I've even bought a couple reels (1000' each). Anyway,I bought this Paracord (actually I bought red, black, and yellow) and I got home, cut a piece and fused it and I was very impressed at how simple it was to fuse compared to other cords. The one thing I wish it had tat I could not find on the packaging was a weight testing, which doesn't sound like a huge deal, but I want to be able to use my Paracord in any situation, and in some cases, it would be nice to know how much weight I can hold on it. But over all I was fairly impressed. This morning however, I was cutting a piece to teach people how to tie knots and I found an area in the cord where a small loop (one of the internal filiments) had been worn outside the putter sheath or the cord, again not a huge problem for crafts but not super assuring when you want to be able to use the Paracord for almost ANYTHING. I guess over all, if your buying the Paracord to teach knots, make jewelry (like survival bracelets) or other not weight baring type of cordage, this is the perfect cord for you, easy to cut, fuse and it is very bright. HOWEVER, if you plan on using this cord to make something that will be weight baring example: hammocks, rope ladder, emergency repel line in survival situation, or anything else that you may want to bare weight THIS IS NOT THE CORD FOR YOU. I hope this review helps someone in choosing this or another brand of Paracord.
Thank you.
