This Sit-On Needlework Frame is a 9" x 18" sit-on split rail scroll frame that is mounted to a stand that conveniently tucks under your legs while you sit and work.

It is great to use in your favorite chair or while traveling. The frame has an adjustable height that ranges from 12" to 18" so you can get it the perfect stitching positions.

Loosen a single knob to rotate the frame and gain access to the back of your work. Fabric not included.

Loved it

I did need to make some modifications. I added rubber washers for stability. Without the rubbery washers, the frame didn't hold it's position we'll. There was anothere modification I made, but I don't remember the names of the pieces I used. Please note that the side without a support sags. I use this frame while reclined in a recliner. The unsupported end lays on the arm I have under the frame. (I make two handed stitches). I'm very happy with it.

I love this thing! :-)

I wish I'd bought one of these years ago. The split-dowel style means you don't have to tape the edges of your work, and you don't have to tape/staple the cloth to the scrollbar. The cloth slides right in and its position can be adjusted as you work. I did have to buy a set of longer dowels--when the embroidery is situated on the horizontal (long side) axis of the cloth, the 18" dowels included with the frame aren't long enough. And I was rather irritated to discover that you also have to buy an additional set of scroll knobs, you only get three with this kit. But, the design of this scroll frame leaves my hands free for the work. I have fibromyalgia, a condition similar to rheumatoid arthritis. Holding on to the hoop with my left hand invariably gave me painful cramps after a couple hours' worth of stitching. So my overall impression of this product is positive, and I would definitely recommend it to someone who likes to do needlework but might have physical conditions which could make that difficult. This frame's been a godsend to me!

Return Policy

Hobby Lobby Stores cannot accept returns for purchases made online.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your item(s) to us within 30 days.
