Splitting solution

As with Caron Simply Soft, I find that I need to use a "flat" crochet hook, rather than the rounded hook in order to avoid the splitting. Susan Bates aluminum hooks and some of the clear acrylics have this "flatter" hook. It's worth investing in a set of these hooks to use with the really soft yarns such as Simply Soft and Soft Secret.

Surprisingly nice...

I just purchased two skeins of this yarn and have just started to knit a project with it. I find this yarn to be very soft and easy to work with. It does not have the plastic-y feeling I usually associate with acrylic yarn. I have not had any issues with splitting & it's working up beautifully so far. I would definitely purchase this yarn for future projects.

Very pretty, splits easily.

I bought four skeins of the Soft Secret Yarn Bee yarn on 12/8 and have tried crocheting a sweater with it. I use an H? Hook and it is metal with a slightly rounded tip, and I've used it with I Love This Yarn with only little problem. The splitting problem happened all up and down the skein I had use.

International Delivery

We do not accept International orders online.

To place an order with an International billing or shipping address:

You will need to order by calling 405-745-1275. Customer Service is available Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00 CST.

Your order will need to ship to a US Destination, such as a freight forwarder. By doing so your order will be eligible for our US shipping rates which often include free shipping.

If you would like for us to ship your order directly to you, you will be charged the actual postage amount. That amount is calculated once your order is picked, packed and ready to ship. International shipping address are excluded from all shipping discounts. All orders shipped to an International location are charged the actual cost of shipping.

Please note that this policy does not include Military Addresses, Guam, Puerto Rico & the US Virgin Islands. We will accept and ship orders to these destinations.

Return Policy

Hobby Lobby Stores cannot accept returns for purchases made online.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your item(s) to us within 30 days.
Items returned must be in sellable condition. Opened or used merchandise can not be returned.
If you have received damaged, broken, or defective merchandise please contact Customer Service at 1-800-888-0321 Ext 1275 before returning the item(s).
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return to be processed and credit issued.
You will receive a refund for the purchase price of the item and applicable sales tax. Credit will be issued to the credit card used at the time of purchase.
