Dr. Ph Martin's Bombay white India Ink is a general purpose fine art pigment with great covering power that dries waterproof, opaque and light fast and holds a line without spreading.

It's non-clogging and flows freely off pens, tips, brushes and airbrushes and can be used for cartooning, designing, rubber stamping, lettering, calligraphy, pen and ink, background washes, and watercolor painting.

It adheres to almost all surfaces including paper, wood, plastic, vinyl, board and metal. AP certified non-toxic.

Trouble with white ink

How can a person keep this product from settling? I use the diluted white upper layer which just doesn't have the strong white component that has settled into a solid chunk!

Not a good purchase

I first bought this ink thinking it would be good for my drawings. But when I bought it, I started to see that it was watery. Like, the top was watery and the pigment of the ink went on the bottom of the bottle. Also, the pigment clogged the dropper in the bottle. But when I try to use it, I shake it and the pigment from the bottom the bottle wouldn't really move. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...

White India Ink

Good product

I recently bought White India Ink because of an art journal project I saw demonstrated. I have been searching for White ink for a while so I was excited to try it. I really like how bold the line is, especially with the different nibs I have used. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is when I paint over it with anything, the white smears. The lable indicates it is water proof. maybe I am doing it wrong but I though water proof meant you could color over it with water colors &/or paint.

International Delivery

We do not accept International orders online.

To place an order with an International billing or shipping address:

You will need to order by calling 405-745-1275. Customer Service is available Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00 CST.

Your order will need to ship to a US Destination, such as a freight forwarder. By doing so your order will be eligible for our US shipping rates which often include free shipping.

If you would like for us to ship your order directly to you, you will be charged the actual postage amount. That amount is calculated once your order is picked, packed and ready to ship. International shipping address are excluded from all shipping discounts. All orders shipped to an International location are charged the actual cost of shipping.

Please note that this policy does not include Military Addresses, Guam, Puerto Rico & the US Virgin Islands. We will accept and ship orders to these destinations.

Return Policy

Hobby Lobby Stores cannot accept returns for purchases made online.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your item(s) to us within 30 days.
Items returned must be in sellable condition. Opened or used merchandise can not be returned.
If you have received damaged, broken, or defective merchandise please contact Customer Service at 1-800-888-0321 Ext 1275 before returning the item(s).
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return to be processed and credit issued.
You will receive a refund for the purchase price of the item and applicable sales tax. Credit will be issued to the credit card used at the time of purchase.
Shipping and handling charges will not be credited unless the reason for the return is our error.
