This Derwent Battery Pencil Sharpener sharpens five sizes of pencils (8 - 11 mm) and features adjustable sharpness control. Base rotates so you can find a comfortable sharpening position and the saving reservoir is see-through and easy to empty.

Requires 4 AA batteries (not included).

Absolutely LOVE this Derwent Sharpener!

I bought this sharpener because I have carpal tunnel and I needed a reliable sharpener that provided no stress to my wrists. Also, because I found that every hand sharpener I had kept breaking the colored pencils and I needed something that wasn't just eating the $2 pencils.

I am extremely happy with the Derwent. My pencils are sharpened to a nice point and breakage is almost non-existent. It is very easy to open and empty the shavings. Battery use is very low. I have used this sharpener for two semesters now, and have only changed the batteries once. Another positive aspect is the portability; from my drawing table at home to my drawing class for college, is great.

Many of my classmates ask to use it while we are in class. My instructor has even given this sharpener positive comments and trials because he is looking for a good sharpener for himself.

I have not had to replace the blade yet, but probably will need to do so soon.

I definitely recommend this sharpener to everyone who is looking for a product they can depend on.

International Delivery

We do not accept International orders online.

Your order will need to ship to a US Destination, such as a freight forwarder. By doing so your order will be eligible for our US shipping rates which often include free shipping.

If you would like for us to ship your order directly to you, you will be charged the actual postage amount. That amount is calculated once your order is picked, packed and ready to ship. International shipping address are excluded from all shipping discounts. All orders shipped to an International location are charged the actual cost of shipping.

Please note that this policy does not include Military Addresses, Guam, Puerto Rico & the US Virgin Islands. We will accept and ship orders to these destinations.

Return Policy

Hobby Lobby Stores cannot accept returns for purchases made online.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your item(s) to us within 30 days.
Items returned must be in sellable condition. Opened or used merchandise can not be returned.
If you have received damaged, broken, or defective merchandise please contact Customer Service at 1-800-888-0321 Ext 1275 before returning the item(s).
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return to be processed and credit issued.
You will receive a refund for the purchase price of the item and applicable sales tax. Credit will be issued to the credit card used at the time of purchase.
Shipping and handling charges will not be credited unless the reason for the return is our error.
