You must mix the resin components exactly as stated on the instructions or it will end up being tacky and will not set. Once the two components are measured out separately, mix together components until it becomes cloudy; be sure to scrape the sides. Let resin stand for 5 minutes (this usually allows any bubbles dissipate).
I've used Ice Resin for years and when I first started, it didn't set because I didn't mix the components properly. There is a way to salvage a resin that has not set: Mix another batch of resin according to instructions (use measuring cups) and use a paint brush to paint a thin coat of clear resin over the entire project. If mixed properly, it will set within 6 hours (depending on the humidity in the air, I usually use a heat lamp to speed the process) and it will make a solid seal on the project.
