Very good starter dollhouse kit
I looked up reviews for this kit online prier to purchasing it. The low price of the kit, deterred me slightly from just outright buying it.
I am very happy that I didn't take every bad review about this kit to heart, because I ended up being very pleased with it's finished product, and the entire process of putting the kit together.
With this kit, you get what you pay for. It's a thinner wood, and far more fragile than other kits, but once assembled, it is quite a sturdy piece.
I read that a lot of people were having trouble with assembly, sanding, and fitting of pieces properly.
I do not suggest you buy this kit if you aren't ready for a bit of sanding and part adjusting. I found this step was minor, and quite fun.
For thirty dollars, this kit is well worth it. It's a standard one inch scaled cottage, and quite spacious once put together. It has quite a lot of character as well, inside and out.
This kit took me three weeks to put together, while working a full time job. I painted every inch of the piece as well, adding quite a bit of time to the process.
I suggest this kit to anyone who is a first time dollhouser. At the very least, you can get some great practice.
*I used several glues on this piece before I found that I liked Goop craft glue. It dries very quickly, and holds up very well.
