The Thunderjet 500 chassis is Auto World's adaptation of the classic "pancake" design, originally developed by Aurora in the early days of electric slot racing.
Still immensely popular today, entire slot racing events are created around this chassis.
It continues to be a favorite with collectors and hardcore drivers. Closer to HO scale, Thunderjet bodies mount over the chassis using two small screws.
Recommended for ages 14 and older.

Nice availability of parts. Can upgrade tires and other parts at hobby stores. Great detail. This is not some toy you give a 6 yr old. It will require maintenance and care.

The car looks old school and also handles old school. They do not hold on to the track well. I am sure they could be modified. Do yourself a favor, stick with the ultra G and mega G cars, they stay on the track.

International shipping address are excluded from all shipping discounts. All orders shipped to an International location are charged the actual cost of shipping.
