I used to get the cheap stuff from walmart since it was $9 bucks for a twin/full size batting but man when I made my quilts it would not matter if I sewn all the areas needed or not. It would make the quilt fluffy (bad way) and then bunch up in odd spots then it just didn't seem to keep warm. My mother made some quilts with this hobbs heirloom batting and I must say it has been very awesome to use. It lays flat, does not bunch up when washed in quilt and man it keeps you warm and not a sweaty to hot quilt feeling either. I use only this in my quilts now as it makes them come out even better since they are not bulky to store. Only issue I have is the local hobby lobby keeps changing the price...is it 12.99, 14.99 or 16.99? I have bought so many at these 3 prices and $4 difference makes a difference in price for a quilt maker to.
