Cheap and over priced
I purchased this machine for over two-hundred dollars thinking that it would make creating some gifts for the holidays easier. When I opened the box I was shocked to see all you had to do to get it just set up. But after watching the DVD a few times I got that down pat, though I didn't like having to use elestic thread. But if it made 1200 stitches in a minute, who cares right? Well if it was only that simple. This machine is so poorly made it is not even funny. It will drop a loop or more almost every swip you make or put two loops on one hook. The needles won't slide through the inserted plate used to gage the thickness of the loops because it is to busy pushing the pin and lifting it up and out of it's slot. The slider that knits the yarn has to be handled carfully as well because it can lean due to the fact there is plenty of wiggle room for it. And that isn't all of the problems with this machine. All in all, considering the price, quality and ease of using the machine I would recommend that you spend your money on something else and learn to either knit or crochet by hand. Now if the product was fifty dollars I might say, it may be... worth getting, but even that is to expensive in my book for what you get in return.
