The Cotman Compact Watercolor Set offers a selection of innovative and modern ultra compact yet practical water colors for all water color artists. It's great for travel and sketching.

It contains 14 assorted Cotman Water Color half pans and one Cotman pocket brush (No.5). It features a number of different integral mixing surfaces and a color tray that can be used in multiple positions in the set. There's even a stand for your brush, so you don't lose it.

okay set

But some of the paints are 'hue' colors. Hue colors are harder to control than regular colors.

After I bought this set, I later pried out the hue colors out of their little pans and put regular W&N artist colors in. (The hue colors frustrated me!)

I also took out the white and put Payne's Gray in.

Now I use this set a lot. It travels well, though sometimes the pans stick to the top lid if it gets turned upside down. When I rode the bus often, this set and a small watercolor tablet made waiting for the bus not boring.

International Delivery

We do not accept International orders online.

To place an order with an International billing or shipping address:

You will need to order by calling 405-745-1275. Customer Service is available Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00 CST.

Your order will need to ship to a US Destination, such as a freight forwarder. By doing so your order will be eligible for our US shipping rates which often include free shipping.

If you would like for us to ship your order directly to you, you will be charged the actual postage amount. That amount is calculated once your order is picked, packed and ready to ship. International shipping address are excluded from all shipping discounts. All orders shipped to an International location are charged the actual cost of shipping.

Please note that this policy does not include Military Addresses, Guam, Puerto Rico & the US Virgin Islands. We will accept and ship orders to these destinations.

Expedited Shipping

Return Policy

Hobby Lobby Stores cannot accept returns for purchases made online.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your item(s) to us within 30 days.
Items returned must be in sellable condition. Opened or used merchandise can not be returned.
If you have received damaged, broken, or defective merchandise please contact Customer Service at 1-800-888-0321 Ext 1275 before returning the item(s).
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return to be processed and credit issued.
You will receive a refund for the purchase price of the item and applicable sales tax. Credit will be issued to the credit card used at the time of purchase.
Shipping and handling charges will not be credited unless the reason for the return is our error.
