Winsor & Newton Art Masking Fluid is a liquid with added pigmentation for masking areas of work needing protection when color is applied in broad washes.

It is composed of rubber latex and pigment. For best results. remove as soon as possible after application.

Brushes can be cleaned if washed immediately with water after use. Sections treated with Art Masking Fluid must be allowed to dry before overpainting. Once dry these areas remain protected and cannot be penetrated by color.

Great!

I paint in watercolors and htis is great! i cover my inks with it and then paint my backgrounds. Comes up with an eraser easily. If you've never used it before be aware that whatever brush you use will be permanently ruined if not IMMEDIATELY washed. There is a masking fluid brush for sale on this site, i'm looking into getting it! Warning that the fluid can go bad, and needs to be used or thrown away after awhile (year or so).

Don't waste your money

This stuff rips the paper when removing it, ruins paintbrushes if you don't wash them within seconds of use, stains paper yellow if it can be removed properly and is all around crap. Don't waste your time or money on it.

International Delivery

We do not accept International orders online.

To place an order with an International billing or shipping address:

You will need to order by calling 405-745-1275. Customer Service is available Monday - Friday 8:30-5:00 CST.

Your order will need to ship to a US Destination, such as a freight forwarder. By doing so your order will be eligible for our US shipping rates which often include free shipping.

If you would like for us to ship your order directly to you, you will be charged the actual postage amount. That amount is calculated once your order is picked, packed and ready to ship. International shipping address are excluded from all shipping discounts. All orders shipped to an International location are charged the actual cost of shipping.

Please note that this policy does not include Military Addresses, Guam, Puerto Rico & the US Virgin Islands. We will accept and ship orders to these destinations.

Return Policy

Hobby Lobby Stores cannot accept returns for purchases made online.
If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase you may return your item(s) to us within 30 days.
Items returned must be in sellable condition. Opened or used merchandise can not be returned.
If you have received damaged, broken, or defective merchandise please contact Customer Service at 1-800-888-0321 Ext 1275 before returning the item(s).
Please allow up to 2 weeks for your return to be processed and credit issued.
You will receive a refund for the purchase price of the item and applicable sales tax. Credit will be issued to the credit card used at the time of purchase.
Shipping and handling charges will not be credited unless the reason for the return is our error.
