Project Instructions
Note: Let dry after each step.
Use 3/4" flat brush and Dark Chocolate to paint base of box.
Use 1/2" flat brush and Baby Pink to paint sides of box lid.
Use 3/4" flat brush and glue to paint top of lid with thin layer of glue. Lay glue side of lid face down on back side of scrapbook paper and press down. Turn lid over and use fingers to smooth paper, removing any air pockets trapped under paper surface. Set aside.
On box base, refer to photo for random placement. Use 3/4" flat brush and Foliage Green to paint vertical stripes on side of box.
Referring to photo, use 1/2" flat brush and Melon to paint vertical stripes on box sides.
Use round brush and Baby Pink to paint random vertical stripes on sides of box. Repeat with Foliage Green.
Use stencil brush and Baby Pink to paint vertical rows of dots.
Use 3/4" flat brush to apply coat of sealer to box and lid.
Helpful Hints: 1. Colors of Americana Acrylics were chosen to match scrapbook paper used. 2. Use hair dryer on low heat setting to speed drying of paints and of glue under paper, which helps to avoid excess wrinkling of paper.
