CREATING A PATTTERN: Lay paper on the floor. Place bare foot on the paper. Trace around foot with pencil. Look at image and correct any areas needed. Next, lay your foot pattern, heal up, over the Pattern Sheet. Select the appropriate hand/arm size: Small, Medium or Large. Move paper and position the left arm. Trace with pencil. Now do the same to create the right arm. The heel area becomes the head. From the top of the heel, measure 1½”. Trace a Nose. Now, select and trace a mouth….you’ve now created an original Ghost!

TRACE: Tape or Lay the sheet of Bright White Shrinky Dinks plastic over your Ghost Pattern. Trace the entire Ghost with the BLACK pen. Personalize the sign with a name or message. (If you purchased an Orange Marker, you can color in the nose and tongue as well as decorate and personalize the sign.) Cut out your Masterpiece carefully because plastic can rip.

PUNCH HOLES BEFORE BAKING: If you plan to make Ghosts for each family member, you may wish to string your finished Ghosts on, i.e., a shoe lace, yarn or string. You need to punch two holes – one on each side of each Ghost with a Paper Punch. Or you can punch a hole in the top portion of the head. Insert wire or string after baking. You do not need any holes if you are making a Magnet or attaching to a Greeting Card.

BAKE: Bake colored side up. Follow directions in package. (Helpful Hint: Watch! If you see any portion of your Ghost sticking to itself, simply reach into the oven and pull apart. Continue baking as per directions.)
