Fabric

Can I order fabric & trim online?

We are happy to offer our best selling fabric & trim available to purchase online.  Fabric is available to purchase in full yard increments only.  The average bolt size is listed on all fabrics letting you know the largest possible cut available.  If you order 20-yards of a fabric with an average bolt size of 10-yards, you will receive two 10-yard cuts.  Please note that due to variations with computer monitors, etc the actual color of the fabric may vary.  We do not guarantee that the colors will match exactly.

The price displayed online is the price per yard.  In the quantity field, please enter the total number of yards you want to order.

Can I use a coupon to purchase fabric & trim?

Yes, you may use your 40% or 25% off coupon for a single cut of fabric, up to 10-yards.  If you order up to 10-yards of a single fabric the entire amount will be discounted the coupon amount.  If you order over 10-yards, the first 10-yards will be discounted, the remainder will be full price.  This policy also applies to all trims, ribbon - all items sold by-the-yard.  Please note:  This applies to a single cut.  The discount will not be applied across multiple by-the-yard items.

No, we do not send samples of our fabric or trim.

I don't see a fabric online that is in your stores

At this time, we are only offering our best selling fabric & trims for purchase online.  If there is a fabric in your local store that is not available online, it may still be available to order from us by-the-bolt.  Only the fabric & trims listed online are available to purchase by-the-yard.  Please contact us with any questions regarding a fabric you are unable to locate online.

Can I return fabric?

What if I need to cancel or change my order?

We are unable to make any changes or cancel orders once they have been submitted. Please place another order for any items you may have left off your original order. Please refer to our Return Policy for information on how to return any items you ordered in error.

What if I am tax exempt?

Before you place your order, please contact the Shop Hobby Lobby Tax Division of our Customer Service department to inquire about the proper tax exemption procedures for your state.

The phone number for our tax division is 1-800-888-0321, extension 1248 or the direct number is (405)745-1248. Customer Service for the Shop Hobby Lobby Tax Division is available Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm CST.

Your tax exempt request must be submitted within 7 days of placing your order.

Please also note, all tax exempt orders must be placed using a company credit card or a business PayPal account. We are not able to issue a credit for tax if the order is placed with a personal credit card.

Do you charge sales tax on shipping and handling?

How do I order an item that is on sale?

When an item, group of items or department is advertised on sale, the sale price is already calculated. By placing the item in your shopping cart, you are getting the advertised sale price.

How long does it take to receive my order?

We have a 2-3 day in-house process so that we may pick & pack your order. It will then take an additional 1-7* business days for your order to be delivered.

*Estimate. Packages shipped Parcel Post will take longer.

**During peak Holiday Seasons (Mother's Day & Christmas) it can take an additional 1-2 business days to get your order shipped.

Do you ship to APO/FPO and other Military Addresses?

Yes, we do ship to US Military addresses via USPS Priority or Parcel Post Mail. Your shipping rate is determined by the sub-total of your order.

Yes, we do ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Guam & Puerto Rico. Your shipping rate is determined by the sub-total of your order.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time we are not able to accept International orders online. You may order from us by calling 405-745-1275. Customer Service is available Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00 CST.

You will be charged the actual postage amount. That amount is calculated once your order is picked, packed and ready to ship. We will contact you with your postage amount prior to shipping.  Advertised discounts for shipping rates DO NOT apply to International orders.

You are responsible for all taxes, duties, etc.

How do I know when my order has shipped?

What if I want my order delivered faster?

Before placing your order, please contact us at 1-800-888-0321, option 1. Customer Service is available Monday – Friday 8:00-5:00 CST. We will go over the options for expediting your order and provide you with an estimate of the additional shipping charges.

We are unable to send packages Next Day Air or 2nd Day Air to PO Boxes, Military Address, Puerto Rico or Guam.

If we are running a promotion on our shipping charges this only applies to ground shipping. You are responsible for the actual cost of expedited shipping.

I saw an item in a Hobby Lobby Store but can’t find it online.

There are items available in your store that will not be featured online because of their size and difficulties in shipping. Additionally, there are many Seasonal items that are carried in Hobby Lobby Stores that are called “send out”. Send out items are items that are purchased one time and sent directly to the stores.

How long does it take to ship a gift card and how is it shipped?

All gift cards are mailed within 1-2 business days of your order being placed. It will be mailed via USPS First Class Mail and is shipped separately from any merchandise you may order.

Gift Cards can be applied toward any purchase at Hobby Lobby. It may not be exchanged for cash. Gift Cards have no expiration date; however some states may declare idle funds to be “unclaimed property.” Hobby Lobby cannot replace funds declared unclaimed property by the government. Therefore we encourage you to redeem your card promptly.

Can I use the 40% off coupon on any item?

There are items excluded from the 40% off coupon.  Items include:

  • Items already on sale
  • Gift Cards
  • Cricut Products
  • Tim Holtz Vagabond Machine
  • Helium Tank
  • Fabric & trim is limited to a single 10-yard cut

 

There are further exclusions that apply to in-store purchases.

The 40% off coupons are one coupon per customer, per day.

Please note there are numerous sources of fraudulent Hobby Lobby coupons available online.  Most of these sources originate from outside of the United States.  As a result, Hobby Lobby is unable to prevent the dissemination of fraudulent coupons and will only honor the legitimate and authorized weekly Hobby Lobby “40% Off One Item at Regular Price” coupons.

Are your 'base metal' findings and beads (like 'The Jewelry Shoppe' and 'Metal Gallery') nickel free? It would be good to include in descriptions since many people have allergies. Thanks!

The metal jewelry components that we sell are made of steel, copper, casting, zinc alloy, tin, iron, brass and silver.  Our Metal Gallery jewelry components are made of various types of materials including: iron, carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorus, sulfur and Zinc.  Some of the items also contain; aluminum, magnesium, copper, tin, nickel, indium and titanium

We do carry hypo-allergenic & precious metal findings that may work for you.

How long does it take for you to ship an order to hawaii?

We generally have a 1-2 day in-house process.  We ship via First Class Mail, USPS Priority Mail or Parcel Post. The shipping method is determined by our warehouse when the order has been processed, packed and is ready to ship.

We make every effort to ship all orders either First Class or Priority but some packages due to weight and/or size must be shipped Parcel Post.  Delivery can be a few days up to several weeks depending on the service used.

In stores, can you buy less ribbon than whats on the spool? Can you get it cut like fabric?

Hobby Lobby Stores, at this time, carry some ribbons/trims that are sold by the yard.  If an item is priced to sell as a full spool, those items cannot be cut and sold by the yard.  You can view what we carry online here.  If an item is listed with quantity next to the field where you enter an amount, it is sold by the spool.  If an item is listed with yards next to the field, it is sold by the yard.  It will be sold the same way in Hobby Lobby Stores.  If you have a question as to how a specific item is sold, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Is your fabric cut into 1 yard? If I order 6 yards is it going to be cut into 6 separate yards?

If you order 6-yards of fabric you will receive a single 6-yard piece, we will not cut it into six 1-yard pieces.
