To sharpen dull scissors, cut some sand paper.

For hand quilters, glue a sheet of fine sand paper to a clip board.  Not only will it keep your fabric still to mark, but if you have to stop, you can clip the pattern piece to the clip board. Submitted by ~ Submitted by Regina G.
